Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to build and run an new Technology team within Adaire to support one of our clients! The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy and maintain Java-based products for our client. You must be comfortable building, managing and working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects. Tasks This is a full-time on-site Senior Project Owner (English and German) role located in Windhoek, Namibia. As the Senior Project Owner, you will be responsible for building a team, managing the lifecycle of projects, from initiation to close-out, to ensure that project objectives are met on time and within budget. You will oversee project teams and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful outcomes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related field Experience creating running a technology team Fully fluent in English and German (speaking, reading, and writing) 10+ years of project management experience in software development Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and processes Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams Experience in working in a multicultural environment and collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams Experience in Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification a bonus Who you are as a person You have customer-centricity at your core and understand the need to go above and beyond.
